Let’s add an award-winning comic book artist and inker to the Summer Con lineup. Please welcome Scott Hanna to the Washington State Summer Con from June 21st to the 23rd in Puyallup.
Scott Hanna is an inker in the comic book industry. He has worked with DC Comics and Marvel. He started his career as an inker for Eternity Comics. He then worked for DC at Detective Comics for five years, completing storylines as Knightfall; Contagion; Legacy, and Cataclysm. He has recently been working on Wonder Woman, Superman, and Dial H for Hero for DC Comics and Age of Conan, Star Wars, Major X, and Avengers for Marvel.
Scott is an Eisner Award-winning artist in the graphic novel industry, Scott Hanna has been drawing and inking comic books for over 30 years. His work has been published in over 1,000 comics and graphic novels, and he’s inked over 23,000 pages of comic art.
At Marvel Comics, Scott’s worked on all the top characters at the company, known for working on most of the Spider-Man titles over the past 30 years, sometimes working on multiple Spider-Man titles at the same time. He has been working on Amazing Spider-Man with John Romita Jr, and working on the new Spider-Man India. Scott has also had runs on the Avengers, Iron Man, the X-Men, the Hulk, and many more. During his time at Marvel Comics, he has inked almost every major character.
At DC Comics, he has worked on most of their major titles, including a five-year run on Detective Comics starring Batman, Green Lantern Corps, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Superman, and Teen Titans. In 2022, His new Milestone series DUO premiered.
He is co-founder of the Arts and Fashion Institute in PA with his wife Pamela Ptak, Scott teaches classes in sequential art, painting, drawing, and cartooning.
