She’s got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty, and she’s bringing them all to Puyallup! Please welcome the Disney Legend, Jodi Benson to the 2025 Washington State Summer Con lineup in Puyallup from June 20th through the 22nd.
Jodi is best known for providing the voice of Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, as well as in its its sequel, prequel, and television series spin-off, along with many other Disney works. She is also known for her portrayal of Barbie in the second and third films of the Toy Story franchise, and in the Toy Story Toons short Hawaiian Vacation.
Not to be missed, Jodi was also the voice of Thumbelina in Don Bluth’s animated musical fantasy from 1984. An amazing reunion of Jodi and Don at Summer Con for all of the Thumbelina fans.
Her other notable voice roles in Disney projects include Weebo in Flubber, Belle in House of Mouse, Lady in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure and Anita Radcliffe in 101 Dalmatians II: Patch’s London Adventure; she also appeared as Sam in the live-action Disney film Enchanted.
Outside of Disney, Benson’s film credits include Balto II: Wolf Quest, and Balto III: Wings of Change; on television, she voiced the character of Tula in Hanna-Barbera’s The Pirates of Dark Water, and Jane Doe and Patsy Smiles in Cartoon Network’s Camp Lazlo.
In the video game genre, Jodi provided the voice of EVA in the Metal Gear series and Ariel in Kingdom Hearts to name a few.
