Grant Show has a career that spans television, film, and theater. Show’s first major role was as Rick Hyde on the daytime soap Ryan’s Hope (1984–1987), earning a Daytime Emmy nomination. His breakout came as Jake Hanson on Beverly Hills, 90210 (1992), leading to a starring role in the iconic Melrose Place (1992–1997), cementing his status as a 1990s TV heartthrob. He reprised Jake in the Melrose Place spin-off Models Inc. (1994).

Grant’s television credits include recurring roles in Private Practice (2008–2011) as Dr. Archer Montgomery, Big Love (2011) as Goji Guru, and Devious Maids (2013–2016) as Spence Westmore. He starred as Tom Decker in Swingtown (2008) and played Blake Carrington in The CW’s Dynasty reboot (2017–2022).

His other notable TV appearances include Six Feet Under (2001), Point Pleasant (2005), Dirt (2007), Burn Notice (2011), and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2011–2012). In film, Show appeared in The Possession (2012), Born to Race (2011), and Justice for Natalee Holloway (2011).

His theater work includes Broadway’s Wit (1999) with Judith Light, The Glass Menagerie (2001), and the first stage production of On the Waterfront as Terry Malloy. Show’s ability to portray complex, charismatic characters has sustained his career across decades. He continues to captivate audiences with his versatile performances.
