Our wrestling fans are pretty needy. They have asked us for “The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be” so we are honored to announce that wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer, Bret “The Hitman” Hart will be coming to the Washington State Summer Con happening from June 20th through the 22nd.

Bret “The Hitman” Hart is a wrestling legend, widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. A member of the storied Hart wrestling family, Bret began his career in his father Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling in 1976, honing his technical skills. In 1984, he joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE), initially as part of the Hart Foundation tag team with Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. Managed by Jimmy Hart, they won the WWF Tag Team Championship twice (1987, 1990), showcasing Bret’s in-ring precision.

Hart’s technical prowess earned him the nickname “The Excellence of Execution.” He won the WWF Intercontinental Championship twice (1991, 1992) before capturing his first WWF Championship in 1992, defeating Ric Flair. Hart headlined multiple WrestleManias, including iconic matches against Owen Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He won the WWF Championship five times, holding the title for a combined 654 days. His feuds with Stone Cold Steve Austin, particularly their Submission Match at WrestleMania 13 (1997), are considered classics.

In 1997, Hart joined World Championship Wrestling (WCW) where he won the United States Championship four times and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice. A concussion in 2000, caused by a botched kick from Goldberg, ended his in-ring career. Hart returned to WWE in 2010, reconciling with Shawn Michaels and competing in a final match at WrestleMania 26. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame three different times: 2006, 2019, and 2025.

Meet Bret Hart on Friday and Saturday at the Washington State Summer Con. He will be with us signing autographs, taking photos, and meeting his fans. Tickets and Photo Ops are on sale now at: https://wasummercon.com
