
Adrian is a versatile actor with over 100 film, television, and voice acting credits. His career began with a standout role as the original Nightcrawler in the 1990s animated X-Men series. Hough’s international breakthrough came in 2012 as Haytham Kenway in Assassin’s Creed III, earning a BAFTA nomination for his performance-capture portrayal of the Templar Grand Master.
His film roles include X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) as the Weatherman, The Fog (2005), Underworld: Evolution (2006), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), and Charlie St. Cloud (2010).
On television, he’s appeared in cult favorites like Supernatural (multiple roles), Arrow, Travelers (as a judge), and Once Upon a Time (as the Woodcutter). Hough played Doctor Quincy in the award-winning film Eadweard (2015) and Sigourney Weaver’s brother in The Assignment (2016).
His voice work includes the new X-Men ’97 series and The Dragon Prince. A regular on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart, he’s also featured in The Good Doctor, Riverdale, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
