Chris Klein is an actor known for a number of his teen comedy roles and mainstream films of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Klein made his film debut with a memorable supporting role in the dark comedy Election (1999), opposite Reese Witherspoon.
That same year, he achieved breakout stardom as Chris “Oz” Ostreicher, the sensitive high school jock and lacrosse star, in the blockbuster comedy American Pie (1999). He reprised the role in American Pie 2 (2001) and American Reunion (2012). Klein’s early career include a range of projects, including the romantic drama Here on Earth (2000), the war epic We Were Soldiers (2002) alongside Mel Gibson, the sci-fi remake Rollerball (2002), the comedy Just Friends (2005) as a villainous ex, and American Dreamz (2006).
Klein expanded into television with a recurring role as Drew on the FX sitcom Wilfred (2011–2014) and the metahuman villain Orlin Dwyer / Cicada on The Flash (2018–2019). He has continued working in both film and TV, appearing in projects like Sweet Magnolias.
