Alanna Ubach

With a career that spans more than three decades, actress Alanna Ubach has amassed an impressive resume with over 150 theater, film and television projects, bringing dynamic performances and working with a number of the industry’s most revered directors.

Ubach stars as Susan Bennett in Seth MacFarlane’ and Peacock's new prequel series TED, about to launch into its second season, and the critically acclaimed television series EUPHORIA as Sydney Sweeney and Maude Apatow's mother, Suze. This past year she played Hanrahan in two episodes of THE LAST OF US. She appeared opposite Tom Hardy and Rhys Ifans in the third installment of the VENOM franchise, VENOM: THE LAST DANCE in 2024.

In 2019, she was nominated for a SAG award for her performance as Jeanine Pirro in Jay Roach's BOMBSHELL (having also worked with Jay on MEET THE FOCKERS!). Her other film and television credits include Peabody Award winning MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE, the Oscar winning COCO as Mama Imelda, the family’s matriarch, the blockbuster hits LEGALLY BLONDES 1 and 2, and WAITING. Alanna has voiced countless voice characters including in animated series CROSSING SWORDS as well as MONSTERS INC.

She has provided voices for several characters in a number of animated television shows and films, such as Liz Allan on The Spectacular Spider-Man, the title character on El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, Lola Boa on Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, Strudel on Pound Puppies, Ansi Molina on Welcome to the Wayne, Skate Lad and Rope Girl on Teamo Supremo and four characters in the Oscar-winning animated film Rango (2011). You will soon see Alanna on Anya Taylor Joy's new series LUCKY as well as recurring on the next season of HACKS
