Clay Mann

Clay Mann is a comic book penciller and prolific cover artist, best known for dynamic superhero art. His twin brother Seth Mann frequently inks his work. He debuted at Marvel in 2006 with a backup in X-Men Unlimited vol. 2 #13, followed by Marvel Adventures: Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire, Immortal Iron Fist, Daredevil, and various X-Men titles.

His Marvel credits include X-Men: Legacy (multiple issues, 2008–2014), the full 2012–2013 Gambit solo series, X-Men, Indestructible Hulk, Thor: God of Thunder, and more.

He worked with Valiant around 2014–2015, contributing interiors and covers to Ninjak (including the relaunch), X-O Manowar, Book of Death: The Fall of Ninjak, and handbook specials.

Since 2016, Mann has been a key DC Comics artist with many credits on flagship titles: extensive work on Action Comics, Batman (including Tom King arcs like “The War of Jokes and Riddles” and Preludes to the Wedding), the Heroes in Crisis limited series, Batman/Catwoman, Trinity, Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death, Superman, and others (plus occasional coloring/writing, e.g., Action Comics #966). He remains active on titles like Absolute Batman.
