Here you go Straw Hatters, as we offer another crew member with a huge anime resume to Puyallup from June 21st through the 23rd. Please welcome Stephanie Young to the Washington State Summer Con anime lineup. Stephanie voices the mysterious Nico Robin in the Funimation/Crunchyroll dub of One Piece – spanning a thousand episodes and counting.

Stephanie Young is a prolific voice actress with a niche for strong women, warriors, witches, and queens. She has voiced many iconic female characters in anime and gaming. Some key roles are the formidable Nana Shimura in My Hero Academia, the skillful and cunning Sylvia Sherwood in Spy X Family, the fearsome and commanding Olivier Armstrong in Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, as well the stoic and fierce Clare in Claymore, the delightfully evil and Goth-chic Arachne in Soul Eater, the cruel and determined Towa from Dragonball Xenoverse, the Dominator in Pyscho-Pass, and Karen Lilica/Mama Pices from Fairy Tail.

Stephanie’s game projects include Dragon Ball Z – Kakarot and Xenoverse (Towa), Borderlands: The Pre Sequel and Borderlands II (Nisha/Sheriff), along with the lead female vocals (singing) in Ms. Splosion Man, Smite (NuWa), Orcs Must Die! (Weaver), Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley, Stephanie is the female vocalist in the “Brad” theme song, as well as the voice of the Viking hottie, Nordya.
