He is a Klingon warrior, a Starfleet officer, and he is now heading to the Summer Con lineup this year! Please welcome Michael Dorn in one of his rare appearances for 2024 at the Washington State Summer Con happening from June 21st to the 23rd in Puyallup.
 
Michael Dorn is best known for playing Worf in the Star Trek franchise, the first Klingon character to be part of a television series’ main cast. Dorn played the character regularly from 1987 to 2002, appearing in four films and 272 television episodes. Dorn has had more episode appearances than any other actor in the franchise’s main cast.
 
Dorn appeared in 175 episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and later was added to the main cast of the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and most recently in Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard. His film roles include Star Trek Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, and “Star Trek: Nemesis.
 
In 1976, Dorn made his film debut in the sports film “Rocky”. He had an uncredited role as the bodyguard of boxer Apollo Creed. Other film roles include Demon Seed, Jagged Edge, Ted 2, Ali, and The Santa Clause 2 & 3
 
Dorn received his first regular television role when cast as Officer Jebediah Turner in the crime drama series CHiPs in 1979. He had the regular role of Dr. Carver Burke in the police procedural series Castle. Dorn voiced the supervillain Prometheus/Adrian Chase in the CW series Arrow.
 
Dorn’s voice acting credits include the cyborg gargoyle Coldstone in Gargoyles, Gorgon the Inhuman in Fantastic Four, Kalibak Steel/John Henry Irons in Superman: The Animated Series, Kraven the Hunter/Sergei Kravinoff in Spider-Man: The New Animated Series, Fright Knight in Danny Phantom, Captain Mozar in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Bane in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
 
Michael’s recent acting roles include Sandman in The Santa Clause Disney+ series, Battle Beast in Invincible, and Bupu in The Lion Guard.
